NCHSAA 4A East Regional Results
Regionals & States…
Regional Champion — Shot Put: Tony Taylor
Men’s Team finished 2nd, following 1st place 2022. Several outstanding performances and every point mattered… beating out 3rd place by 1/2 point. It came down to the 4×400 earning 1 additional point from the slower 4×400 heat and 0.06seconds margin.
Women’s Team finished 13th, improving from 19th in 2022. Great performances, and ready to continue the move up during the next school year. This is a younger team, including 2 Freshmen who produced points. More to see here in the future!
State Championship Advancements:
Leah Carter — 300m Hurdles, 2nd Place at 44.11
Women’s 4×800m — 3rd Place at 9:30.38 (4th fastest in LRHS history)
